Who Is Kartikey?
Hii, I am Kartikey, a CBT coach and the founder of Voice at Peace, a space where your voice awakens peace.
Voice at Peace was not created only from academic learning, but also from personal experience. I am someone who has experienced mental health struggles firsthand. There was a time in my life when I struggled deeply with Pure O OCD, along with underlying issues like anxiety, depression, overthinking, emotional distress, and unresolved trauma. At that point, even simple daily thoughts and emotions could feel exhausting and overwhelming.
My journey toward healing did not happen overnight. It involved understanding my mind deeply, learning healthier responses to fear and uncertainty, and slowly rebuilding my relationship with myself and life. Through consistent self-work, psychological understanding, and practical approaches rooted in CBT principles, I gradually learned how to heal and manage the patterns that once controlled my life.
What makes this journey meaningful for me is that the same understanding and approaches that helped me personally have also helped many others learn how to manage their own struggles more effectively. Over time, I realized that people often do not just need advice, they need someone who truly understands what it feels like to be trapped inside cycles of fear, rumination, self-doubt, and emotional exhaustion.
Although my academic background is in Physics, my deep curiosity about the human mind naturally led me toward psychology. What initially began as personal learning slowly became both an academic pursuit and a genuine passion. I spent years studying mental health, OCD patterns, cognitive behaviour therapy, human behaviour, and recovery approaches, not only through theory but also through lived experience and continuous exploration.
Today, as a mental health coach, my goal is not to present myself as someone perfect or someone who has all the answers. My goal is to create a safe and practical space where people can feel understood, learn healthier ways to respond to their struggles, and slowly reconnect with peace, meaning, and confidence in their lives again.
At Voice at Peace, I believe healing is not about becoming fearless or achieving perfect certainty. It is about learning how to live fully even in the presence of uncertainty, difficult emotions, and intrusive thoughts, without allowing them to control your entire life.
If you are struggling right now, I want you to know that meaningful change is possible. Sometimes the first step toward peace begins simply by understanding that you are not alone in your experience.
